A Swarm of the Sun

Version Studio is proud to present A Swarm of the Sun’s full-length debut ”Zenith”. The album is due for release on August 30, 2010 and will be distributed by Sound Pollution across all Europe. The album will also be available for download world-wide through well-known services such as iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and more.

The Swedish duo finds their influences in a number of different genres - including post rock, indie rock, assorted electronics and film scores - and slowly builds the emotional entity that is ”Zenith”. Hopefully, the result is an album in a world of tracks; something serious in a world that fears serious; something that demands slow attention.

A Swarm of the Sun is Erik Nilsson and Jakob Berglund. They previously released the EP ”The King of Everything” in 2007, and has since been working on the follow-up. On ”Zenith” they colaborate with a number of different musicians and producers, including Anders Carlström (Lingua, Come Sleep, Kausal), Karl Daniel Lidén (Vaka, ex-Dozer), Anna Sofi Dahlberg (Anekdoten) and Andreas Lindström (Aoria).

”Zenith” was recorded and mixed by Erik Nilsson in Version Studio, which is his own studio and record label, and mastered at Tonteknik Recordings by Pelle Henricsson (Refused, Cult of Luna, Silverbullit).
